8-Day Migration River Crossing (Private lodge)

In the morning you will be collected from your lodgings in Arusha by your private safari guide. You will drive to Tarangire National Park on a good tarmac road across gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees. On the way, you will pass many Maasais in their colourful dress walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle and driving donkey carts. Tarangire National Park, well known for its large elephant herds, is also host to a multitude of other animals. From the open roof of your safari jeep you will see seasonal swamps, savanna and the life giving Tarangire River. You will see zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and giraffe, to name but a few. It is possible you will see lion stalking prey or leopards watching and relaxing in the trees above. After your extensive game drive, you will drive to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will drive from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti which takes 6 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region Will briefly stop at the gate and viewpoint to look at the breathtaking view of the crater. Duration: 20 minutes Serengeti National Park Arrive late in the afternoon, do a game drive in Seronera (Central Serengeti) till late evening and experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals. Lucky enough, you'll be seeing a predator hunting or on a kill.

On this day, go to the wider parts of the Serengeti south/east/west depending on wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, go on an early game drive. We will later have lunch and continue the game drive till evening then return to the lodge (Serengeti Heritage) for dinner and your overnight stay. Meals included: • Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner.

After an early breakfast, you will go on an early game drive to see a lot of animals till the afternoon. Then here you will head to camp for lunch and pack your belonging. Then do a game drive while we exit the Serengeti heading to Rhino Lodge (a 2-hour drive) near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. Meals included: • Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner Accommodation included.

After an early breakfast, you will descend the crater (6:15 am) on a journey to find the black rhinos. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater as most animals will be easier to spot from this park due to it being a floor crater. After lunch, you will do a game drive and ascend the crater to the camp and pack for the trip to the Africa Safari Glamping Lodge & Campsite near Lake Manyara National Park (be prepared for swimming if interested).

After breakfast, you will go to the Lake Manyara National Park famous for the large number of flamingoes in the lake and its tree-climbing lions (though they are rarely seen). We will do a game drive viewing plenty of birds. If you are lucky enough, you can spot these famous tree-climbing lions. Visit the hippo pool for a close look at hippos and the hot springs. Enjoy all this while doing a game drive and viewing plenty of animals (buffaloes, wildebeest, warthogs, vultures, eagles, monkeys, etc.). After the tour, you will head back to Arusha (your hotel or airport). After the safari, your transfer to the airport is included.

This is your final day with us. We will drop you off at the airport at your preferred time.
