You’ll be picked up from the Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport (or your hotel in Arusha) and then make your way to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive and picnic lunch. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the campsite. Lake Manyara is a scenic gem that stretches for 50km along the base of the 600m high Rift Valley escarpment. Its setting was extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. The compact game-viewing circuit through Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. From the entrance gate, the main road winds through an expanse of lush, jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy.
After breakfast, you’ll proceed to Serengeti National Park for a game drive and picnic lunch. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Seronera campsite. Every year a million wildebeest are driven by the same ancient rhythm and fulfill their instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life: a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating. It’s survival of the fittest as 40km (25 mile) long columns of wildebeest plunge through crocodile-infested waters on their annual exodus north; replenishing the species in a brief population explosion that produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 mile) pilgrimage begins again.
After an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, you’ll return to the camp for breakfast and some rest. Later you’ll go on another game drive and eat a picnic lunch. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Seronera campsite. The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates Tanzania’s greatest park. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowls the southeastern plains. All three African jackal species can be found here (a rare occurrence), alongside the spotted hyena and a host of more elusive small predators, ranging from the insectivorous aardwolf to the beautiful serval cat.
After an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, you’ll return to the camp for breakfast and some rest. Later you’ll go on another game drive and eat a picnic lunch. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Seronera campsite. As enduring as the game-viewing is the liberating sense of space that characterizes the Serengeti Plains, stretching across sunburnt savannah to a shimmering golden horizon at the end of the earth. After the rains, this golden expanse of grass is transformed into an endless green carpet flecked with wildflowers. There are also wooded hills and towering termite mounds, rivers lined with fig trees, and acacia woodlands stained orange by dust.
After an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, you’ll return to the camp for breakfast and then proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch and game drive en route. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Simba campsite.
The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera.
After an early breakfast, you’ll enjoy a  game drive and picnic lunch in the crater. Later you’ll make your way to the Sun Bright campsite for dinner and your overnight stay. After an early breakfast you’ll go on a game drive in Tarangire National Park. After a picnic lunch we’ll return to Arusha. You’ll be dropped off at the Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport after 5:00pm. Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle, you will take in the seasonal swamps, savanna, and Tarangire River. Animals living here include zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe. It’s possible that you will glimpse lions stalking prey or leopards watching and relaxing in the trees above.
